This customer was interested in replacing their old cedar clapboards because the siding had excessive moisture damage. The customer chose to have fiber cement siding installed because of it’s low maintenance and chose us as their siding contractor because we are very familiar with this product.

We began this project by stripping all the existing clapboards, cornerboards, vents, window frames and all backing paper. Then we installed new Tyvek® house wrap.

After, we installed new FC® fiber cement Cedarmill clapboards in slate blue. We also installed PVC window frames and sills, PVC corner boards, new garage door frames and vinyl gable vents.
