Q: Why should I finance my project?
Financing a project with United, through Greensky, allows you to conserve both your money and your equity, and typically offers lower interest rate than a credit card. Greensky has many promotional offerings with deferred interest benefits, but without having to pay out of pocket all at once.¹
Q: What type of credit does Greensky offer?
They offer unsecured loans with fixed interest rates. Unlike a revolving credit card, your non-promotional monthly payment amount is always the same.
Q: Can I bundle my roof financing with other projects with United?
Yes. In addition to roof repair and replacement, we offer a variety of exterior home improvement projects including siding repair and replacement, windows and doors, and painting.
Q: Do I need to put a down payment?
No, we’ve it possible to defer payments for up to 12 months with no interest as an option. Upfront payments are the #1 barrier to moving forward on home improvements. We make it easy for you.
Q: Where can I use my loan?
Greensky loans may be used on qualifying exterior home projects provided by United, including partial siding replacement, roof replacement, windows & doors projects, interior and exterior painting projects.
Q: How long do I have to use my loan?
Once approved, you have four months to make your purchases.
Q: When is my first payment due?
Depends on your roof financing plan. Many deferred interest plans do not require a payment during the promotional period. The first payment on a budget-minded plan is typically due approximately 30 days after the first purchase.
Q: How do I make a payment?
Very easily – pay online, by phone, or schedule automatic payments.
Special note: there is never a penalty for paying off your roofing loan early.
Q: When does the Deferred Interest Plan promotion window begin?
At the time of your first transaction.².
