Here’s one of the many asphalt roof replacement projects we’ve completed, this one particularly was completed in Swampscott, MA 01907. For this roof replacement project, the homeowners chose to install Certainteed Architectural Shingles because they loved the color mixture available.
What you’ll notice in the before photos are the old, wooden roof shingles that might have been original to the home. It’s not ultra-rare, but not a common sight to see cedar roof shingles on homes these days.
Looking at the before and after photos, you’ll see how much the new asphalt roof shingles make the house brighter and modern.
Firstly, we stripped the roof down to the plywood to check for any areas of rot and replaced it with new sheathing, then installed new ice and water shield, and then added new underlayment. Next, we installed a new ridge vent and finished this project with Certainteed Grand Manor Shingles.
We love the transformation that took place and these Swampscott homeowners couldn’t be more thrilled to have updated their home’s roofing updated and upgraded.
